Parents: How to join Zoom meetings for Virtual Parent-Teacher Conferences
Remember the last day to schedule virtual Parent-Teacher Conferences was Sunday, September 18 @ 11:59 p.m. If you were unable to schedule conferences for the virtual conferences today, you may come to the in-person conferences tomorrow, Tuesday, September 20—no Appointment is necessary for in-person conferences.
To join Zoom meetings for virtual Parent-Teacher Conferences:
Go to your confirmation email from pickAtime (check your spam/junk if you do not see it in your inbox). Your confirmation has your schedule with your Zoom meeting links for all Cottonwood teachers.
Click on the Zoom link for each teacher at the time you have scheduled. This can be done from a computer, phone, or other device with audio (video is great, but optional). If you would like, you may click on the link before your scheduled time and the teachers will admit you once they are done with their appointments for that time slot. They will be letting in parents at a first come first served basis.
When prompted, install, and open the Zoom app or use your browser to open Zoom.
If prompted to input in your name, you may use your name or your student’s name.
You will enter the waiting room until the teacher is available to admit you into their meeting.
When you are finished meeting with the teacher, click the red “leave” button to leave the meeting.
Click on the link for each teacher at your scheduled time and follow steps 2-6 as needed.
